Comments: Fisheye Pebbles

I wouldn't steal it to claim as my own, but I do wish I'd taken it. Maybe I should put a fisheye lens on my wish list.

Amazing story about the man that was/is stealing photos.
You work so hard capturing such beautiful images and someone else wants to take the credit.

Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful photos.
You are an inspiration to us all.

Keep up the fantastic work.

This is absolutely mesmerizing. I love it!

(and sorry to hear you've experienced such ridiculous copyright scandals, that guy is such a fraud!)

You're photography is beautiful Sam, as always. I found the attached link (regarding the photo thief) appalling. That someone can continue to lie and steal others work is wrong. I'm glad that you have a large following and the actual talent in order to bring light to such people. Hopefully he can be stopped soon.

First of all, love this shot. very cool. Secondly, I can't believe that story! He's really trying to claim that THREE photographers are lying about giving him permission to use their photos? Rubbish. I'm sorry that some people feel the need to steal your work and claim it as their own. It shows such a lack of artistic respect. How sad.

Wow, great pic and interesting story, I've been following your site for years and am very sadden to see that another photographer has been pretending your excellent work is his ):

Keep up the great images Sam, posting 365 awesome photos a year is true talent.

After reading the article and the links :
the whole thing is really very annoying (that's putting it mildely!).
But :
he can steal your picture,
but never your "Eye", your talent, your experience, and the 10 thousands daily visitors.
Btw : this is another excellent photograph.

The good news is that your photoblog has a vast pool of regular visitors; it makes it tough for IP thieves to steal from you and not being caught eventually!

Love so many of your photos. Your blog is my main point for inspiration on all things photo. Thanks for giving back so much to the community. As others have said here, it is unbelievable the arrogance that thief has. By spreading awareness on this issue, we can all educate ourselves and hopefully avoid the pitfalls. (I can only hope to one day have photos that tempt thieves! But hopefully they will just admire.) Thanks again, Sam!
