Great Photo! Three points of focus, the building, the moon, and the person =)

Posted by Wendy at August 10, 2011 07:16 AMHey Sam,
The tower isn't actually being 'cleaned.' The old carrera marble facade is being replaced with glass. A multi-million dollar restoration project.
Love your shots!
Not cleaned. *New* panels. The old limestone sheets were falling off.
Posted by Bruce L at August 10, 2011 09:19 AM"Cleaned" is putting it mildly: that's all new glass above the scaffolding and the original worn-out marble below! Nice city composition.
Posted by Michael at August 10, 2011 10:51 AMVery Nice. Yup, it is a $100 Million clean up to replace the marble tiles with glass tiles.
Great Shot!

I love the differing perspectives.
You seem to use a lot of perspective-correction in a lot of your photos. What would this photo look like without it? The vertical lines seem impossibly vertical considering you are looking upwards at ~45deg. My brain is telling me something is wrong with the photo, especially at the top end of the tower were the perspective seems "distorted" despite being "perfect". Comment?
