Wow ... this has got to be one of your best images ever. Everything about it is magnificent... the reflection, the colors ... but that solitary figure really anchors the shot and brings it home. Wonderful.
Posted by Brian Walter at July 15, 2011 02:03 AMJust Beautiful!!! as always
Posted by jruiz at July 15, 2011 02:40 AMAbsolutely stunning. I love the cut at the horizon.
Judging by the results, doesn't look like such a mistake though! Do you really feel that RAW is necessary for the majority of your shots?
Posted by Aputure at July 15, 2011 04:16 AMA very nice shot though!
Posted by Melli at July 15, 2011 05:47 AMAwesome image.

Posted by Sam at July 15, 2011 07:48 AMA beautiful, powerful, emotional image. Before I spotted the human figure I thought that the bird was the "Watcher."

Regardless of your jpeg setting. Top notch composition, capture, colour, etc. Well done!!
One of the most beautiful and striking shots you've posted recently, Sam. Not to say that any of them have been below par in anyway, simply that this is stunning.
Posted by Lorna at July 15, 2011 12:01 PMThis reminds me of Kettle Point on Lake Huron.

Posted by Jay at July 15, 2011 05:41 PMQuite bizarre how, because of fog (?), the reflected moonlight seems to begin without reason. Definitely mystical. Beautiful!
Posted by Hugh Petrie at July 15, 2011 08:28 PMThis is a beautiful picture that captures what makes moonlight so tantalizing.
Posted by jessiethought at July 16, 2011 10:24 AMExcellent composition and mood
Great work
My friend Chris sent this exceptional shot to me. It's extra special as July 15th was one of those landmark birthdays for me and everything about this photo reflects (in every possible way) my incredible blessings...of that day, and of my life in general. Thanks!
Posted by Mary at July 19, 2011 11:36 AMThis is a place and time where I would like to be alone sitting in the moonlight as well
Awesome!
Posted by vpv (Pavel) at July 25, 2011 10:46 AMThere's a dude there.

How the fuck did you pull that off Sam.
