Haha! The not-so-subtle protest. Nice!

Funny.. I took a very similar shot of this exact same bike at the same place on De. 18, 2010. And I've seen another shot from another Flickr'ite..
I check your images every morning.
Cheers

Good catch, Sam. Nothing escapes your eagle eye!

Black fence around a red bike, red graphic around a black bike. Brilliant.

Well, I guess the biker saw the sign and decided to abide by it and locked his/her bike. But then again there's an even better chance that they didn't even see it!

That's what I'm talking about!

I love how the red and black colours work on both the sign and the bike, and also how the positioning is the same on the sign and in real life

With a bit of clever positioning he could have covered the diagonal slash in the NO sign and and subtly hidden his disrespect. Of course he likely was happy to be totally blatant.
As usual for you, another excellent shot of human behaviour.

If the city decides to impound the cycle - the cost is $120 to get it back!

Very well spotted. I love inversion of colours: red bike on a black fence; black bike in a red sign.
