Nice picture, have seen this trick made by you a couple years ago, I think. Can't believe that "make polar coordinates" in Photoshop made it. Before that day, was sure it didn't had any real world use: that it was there to make one math geek happy at Adobe or something:).
I used the same trick a few days later to build a logo for one of my web sites using a music score, here it is:
