i went to buy my digital rebel tonight

but they were sold out
i called 3 days ago and they had several :-(

i really would have like to have had it for graduation this week...oh well

good to hear that there is very little visible noise in the high "iso"s

F: 5.6 ? couldn't use F: 2.8 with ISO 400 or speed: 1/20 ?

Love the ornaments shot -- it's like the quantum multiverse theory illustrated in reflections. This also serves as a very subtle self-portrait as well.

ila, what you're saying is possible IF you have a fast lens (<F1.8) which is generally expensive. The lens that comes with the Rebel kit is a Zoom Lens 18-55mm (which means 28-88mm for digital) from F3.5 in wide and F5.6 in tele.
