I LOVE all the layers in this photo! Such a photogenic city Toronto is too!
Posted by anthony at April 4, 2011 02:11 AMYou'll easily be able to identify me.
I'll be the one with little rectangular apertures, cut out from cardboard, fitted over my spectacles, so I can see what I thought I knew, new again, as you see it!
Posted by Chris Greaves at April 4, 2011 07:39 AMAbsolutely love this! Thank you once again.
Posted by Jessica at April 4, 2011 08:36 AMmaybe it's my OCD kicking in, but I noticed there are the same amount of buildings as cars in this shot..and just like Where's Waldo, there is one person in the foreground.....can anybody spot the other person? =)
Posted by JasOn at April 4, 2011 08:54 AMYou can crop this photo in so many places and it will still be a good photo. Good work.
Posted by Ulina at April 4, 2011 10:47 AMImpressive composition. I love the combination of fore/mid/background. I wonder how this scene would look like in a snowy day at twilight when the lights are on.

Keep up with the good work

Posted by Yousi at April 4, 2011 02:50 PMWow, this reminds me of movie Inception.
Posted by Edge at April 4, 2011 04:51 PMAnother brilliant shot - Oh, Sam, those layers!!!!
Posted by krys at April 4, 2011 07:26 PMThat is about the most disturbing view of mixed messy architecture I've ever seen. A masterful photo of it I might add. It is bizarre to the max.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at April 4, 2011 07:32 PMI love it! how long did you have to wait for someone to cross the street? :)
Posted by twt at April 4, 2011 07:42 PMStreet without a Sky!

I like this shot, but I have to ask: Why do you do perspective-correction on images such as this? Maybe my eyes are overly sensitive to this, but to me it seems a bit unnatural.
Can most people tell, or does this look more natural for them... ?
Posted by Borzo at April 8, 2011 09:01 AMI'm a rural girl and I'm always boggled at the thought one or more people on the other side of each window... then to see a lone soul on the street. I'll come back to ponder this image, thanks, Sam.
Posted by Jain at April 8, 2011 09:12 PMMy first impression of this shot was that it reminded me of Inception with the looming wall of buildings at the end of the street. Great Shot! Long time viewer - first time poster! :D
