It's lovely to get out in the fields where they grow the electricity. So many people now don't know where it comes from. They think it just appears magically in the plugs in the wall without ever thinking about the electric farmers and how much work they do every year bringing in a new crop

Posted by Siguidine at February 18, 2011 07:25 AMI love the photo posted February 18th..."Somewhere North of Toronto". When I started photography in 2009, I was drawn to the hydro towers...people don't like them, I find they are these strange sentinels watching over us. Very nice as is all of your work.

Posted by p k at February 18, 2011 01:11 PMI drive by a similar field with massive power lines everyday and think to myself that the field would make a great shot if only the power lines weren't there. Once again Sam, you've shown me that I'm only limited by my own perceptions. Terrific shot. Thanks!
Posted by Frank at February 18, 2011 09:04 PMQuite strange with all the grass sticking out of the snow. Totally perfect.

Posted by bahar at February 20, 2011 06:50 AMBrilliant rendering of shapes and lines. I love the way the stalks in the field mimic the towers in the distance.

Posted by Krys at February 23, 2011 02:44 PMlove the contrast in this shot, on first glance it looked like giant needles in the snow
