Posted by Jingz at January 26, 2011 09:07 AMFunny, for a second I thought you must have been in Asia with Joe McNally...but I guess it was just a similar walking bridge:

I love how the sharp shadows capture the crispness of the sunlight. Sun and shadow define each other. I especially like the way the sun is glinting off the building at the upper right.
Posted by Kelly Morrissey at January 26, 2011 07:41 PMPowerful but uncomfortable feeling here. A great shot of city hellishness.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at January 26, 2011 10:20 PMExcellent! Taking a course in film noir and the architectural shadows here are so reminiscent of those films. Great shot
Posted by Jegg at January 27, 2011 12:50 AMGreat composition and expressive shade
Beautiful shot
I'm not sure I agree about the bad vibes - the sunshine and the attractive and comforting rhythm of the side bars translate into a more complex message about something like the path we walk may not be as comfortable as the place we are in?
Posted by Krys at January 27, 2011 11:16 AMLOVE THIS!
Posted by christine at January 28, 2011 09:04 AMSuperb perspective shot! Great visual interest with all the lines and shadows.
