I love how the sharp shadows capture the crispness of the sunlight. Sun and shadow define each other. I especially like the way the sun is glinting off the building at the upper right.

I'm not sure I agree about the bad vibes - the sunshine and the attractive and comforting rhythm of the side bars translate into a more complex message about something like the path we walk may not be as comfortable as the place we are in?
