Awesome shot.

He looks sort of like an artist god painting what the earth will look like.

My first thought: statue busker... and then I see the rooftop he's standing on.
Nice!

This is an awesome shot! The image stays with you even after you're done looking at it. That's a great accomplishment.

Cheers!

sorry, I can't share the praise for your photo. I visit your site every single day for more than threee years and I love (LOVE) your art. But I don't like 'painter' at all. way too artificial, photoshopped, out of style ... sorry

Posted by bodo at October 1, 2010 06:13 AM

BRAVO! Brilliant, got nothing else to say... he's isn't 'trying', because in this shot he is :)

I've been following your site for a long time, really digging your shots and lurking up until now - but geez, I had to comment on this! Awesome colors and toning and such a cool effect as my eyes wanderered from top to bottom. The way it blends from a surreal photo-illustration type image to a totally natural look down by his boots. Sweet idea and great execution!

Posted by Dan at October 4, 2010 03:49 AM

wow..nice shot....to dramatic :)

Posted by dhiraj at October 5, 2010 12:09 AM

Love everything about it, including that it's different from the usual... which I also love! Came back days later to look at it again.

Pete's a superhero, no doubt!
