Comments: swan fans

loving the TIFF photos - I will be there tomorrow and Saturday - and love this photo - the capture of the fan/photographer gives the whole scene a great sense of anticipation. Wish I had a ticket for this one!

So I'm wondering if the tall photographer is carrying his own footstool or simply tall. I know when I worked in TV newsfilm 55 years ago some other cameramen would comment on my advantage at being tall - 6'5", but this dude is TALL.
Tough working through crowds like this.

Just saw "Thanks" posting........ and 'tho you know I loooove your nature pics.......PLEASE stay with TIFF until you've thoroughly DONE it. No longer living in TO, it is soooooooo TO, and worth every shot. ........besides it will all be over far too soon. "Thanks" just needs to enjoy some archived shots until the TIFF is finished.

Sam, I think you're awesome no matter what you choose to photograph. Keep on keepin' on.

I think Sam's variety and diversity of subjects (such as coverage of events like TIFF), that make him so exceptional!

Can we get something new I'm really tired of crowds and of pictures of a celebrity's head barely visible between the seas of other photographers getting the exact same pic. Come on man can we go back to the streets or something
