Awesome! Perfectly balanced and symmetrical by every axis. I like the simplicity in colors, and texture. Great shot!
Posted by Michael Ririe at August 4, 2010 01:25 AMDid you lie on the floor to get the shot? ;)
Posted by daintee at August 4, 2010 01:32 AMPerfect.
Posted by Megan at August 4, 2010 01:41 AMwow you've made the floor look super clean
Posted by jamie at August 4, 2010 02:16 AMCool shot!
Posted by frankdejol at August 4, 2010 03:54 AMHi there - what a great shot! Next time I am all alone in a bus or on a train you can bet I shall place my little Canon on the floor and set the timer going - most inspirational! :-)
Posted by Tim Woodward at August 4, 2010 04:33 AMThat's one clean floor...
I love when you do these shots with the camera on the floor. I remember one you did on a streetcar.
Posted by Anne at August 4, 2010 07:31 AMBeautiful. I am a fairly new visitor to your site and just love the photos you've taken of our fair city. I'm surprised to not see the drunken teenagers riding this car as that seems to be all I ever encounter when riding late at night.
Posted by Kathy at August 4, 2010 07:34 AMImpossibly clean.
Posted by Brian at August 4, 2010 08:00 AMHey, I almost believed the title of the photo. But it is more interesting that someone is hiding in there.
Posted by pearpenguin at August 4, 2010 09:17 AMBeautiful!
Posted by Daria at August 4, 2010 09:26 AMBeautiful! Great image.
Posted by Luis Gomez at August 4, 2010 09:41 AMVery nice, but doing that in New York you would either get a disease or mugged.
Posted by Don at August 4, 2010 02:24 PMGreat color and symmetry.
Posted by k at August 4, 2010 05:12 PMLove this!!! You must have been the first rider of the day. The TTC floors I walk on rarely look this clean. :)
Posted by kim at August 4, 2010 06:59 PMPerfect.
Posted by Megan at August 4, 2010 11:13 PMNice shot.
Posted by Mohammad at August 5, 2010 02:21 AMFantastic shot! It all looks so neat. Balance is perfect and your composition is great.
Posted by djib at August 5, 2010 05:03 AMLovely, if only the trains in NY were so empty
Posted by Blackberry Photographer at August 5, 2010 09:43 AMLove love love this photo!
Posted by Sam at August 5, 2010 10:29 AMnever see the TTC so clean.. haha
Posted by Calbeee at August 5, 2010 11:27 AMgreat perspective
Posted by desfocado at August 5, 2010 10:22 PMLove the sharpness and the colors. The floor brings here a nice balans in the composition. Well done.
Posted by Marinus at August 6, 2010 05:49 AMVery nice picture.
Posted by madscientist at August 6, 2010 08:03 AMMaybe I'm wrong after all, but I really think I see a persons head, knees and toes on the back left. Everyone seams to be saying how empty it appears. It's very Sam to describe a photo that leads our thinking in a particular way, that a space is empty in this case.
Posted by pearpenguin at August 6, 2010 10:18 PMIs there any chance you could upload a high-resolution version of this to Flickr?
Posted by Jonathan at August 7, 2010 09:40 PMGreat shot, awesome perspective on the floor!
Posted by William at August 9, 2010 10:45 AMgreat low perspective.. totally works
Posted by Betsy Barron at August 12, 2010 07:19 PMHa!, are you trying to imply that your subway's floor is cleaner than mine?
Cause if that's the case... you are right!
