Perfect shot!
Posted by frankdejol at June 24, 2010 03:52 AMNice sense of motion with the slow shutter.
Posted by Roland at June 24, 2010 06:00 AMSuperb shot. Luck or well planned for the train it is impressive. The sky, icing on the cake.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at June 24, 2010 09:51 AMExcellent!
Posted by Luis Gomez at June 24, 2010 10:15 AMAgain and again it REALLY scares me to see that the american/canadian trains are still not powered by (more or less clean) electricity! (well, bringing the electricity industry to a much cleaner point would be necessary first)... where are we just going? :-(
greetings from switzerland!
(but congratulations for this very cool shot!)
Posted by Claude at June 24, 2010 10:52 AMI disagree with Hugh, to me the sky and the industrial landscape make the shot, the train is icing on the cake.
Beautiful.
I wonder why he seems to have semi-retired the 5D in favor of the Panasonic?
Oh wow.

I love trains.
I love this green train photograph.
3 loves!
I like this shot. At different times, I've been on both sides of this shot - watching trains from the bridge and rushing towards Union in the cab of a locomotive. This pic captures the feeling very well.
Posted by Remi at June 25, 2010 02:54 AMlove how the movement of the train, the tracks and the cloud patterns align. very nice!
Posted by markus at June 25, 2010 09:16 AMSuperb
