I'm surprised at how dark the shadows are here on my media laptop. I do wish it were possible to know how it looks to you. Been a long time since I thought one of your shots looked too dark. I'd go for a more washed out sunlit area on the wall to get more shadow. Can't really see the shadows here. And when I cover the PC to shade it to see more the detail is still terrible. Can't win em all.

Posted by Luis Gomez at June 15, 2010 09:20 AMI love how you used line and repetition along with the shadow lighting. It really give a neutral feel to it and an irriness that i like =)
Posted by Bubble Man at June 15, 2010 11:50 PMI agree with the first poster in the sense that the shadows surprised me. Love the composition, I come here a lot for city-scape ideas. That said, unless you're shooting film, or intentionally going for a "film" type exposure, I would have gone with a few different RAW files here.

The depth of the shadows was the result of a dark monitor. Looking at the shot on a reasonable monitor... Looks good to me.
Sorry.
