I guess the owner won't be upgrading to a Hummer any time soon.
Posted by Andrew at June 9, 2010 03:26 AMWelcome to the region! Hope you can make it to Angers where parking is also a "challenge". Thanks for many memorable photos of Toronto, my old home. Regards, Peter
Posted by Peter Bolos at June 9, 2010 04:59 AMhaha! it'll even take some skills to get in and out of the car with such a tight clearance for the door
Posted by Helen at June 9, 2010 05:23 AMPerfect parking!
Posted by Luis Gomez at June 9, 2010 07:35 AMJust love this. Good motivation to stay thin!
Posted by Jeremy Sale at June 9, 2010 08:59 AMLove the colour.
Posted by Tom Cattanach at June 9, 2010 09:09 AMabsolutely love the cosy slot.. the lane.. the tranquility of this place... don't we all need a space like this to be at peace..
Posted by shikher at June 9, 2010 09:34 AMGreat shot, full of planes and angles and textures. That's gotta be one slim French woman (or man), to be able to get out of the car once it's tucked in there!
Posted by Patricia at June 9, 2010 11:04 AMI really love the muted colors in this shot!
Posted by Sara at June 9, 2010 11:29 AMWow! I love the irony of your shot! the car looks small while emphasizing it too.
Posted by Chris at June 9, 2010 11:58 AMWelcome to France !
Posted by Yvan at June 9, 2010 12:44 PMVery cool. Can't stop staring at it.
The angles, narrow structures, all these different bricks, blocks, cobblestones, moss on the roof tiles, weird little room on the right with a window... the satellite dish and the Renault.
A treat.
Excellent shot, colors and angle are really spectacular.
I just got back from a week's vacation in Toronto with my girlfriend. We are from Kansas City and finally made a trip up because I've always wanted to visit since I started following your blog about 4 years ago. We had an amazing time, and I felt like I knew so much of the city already! Thanks for your continued daily dose of imagery.

Posted by Corey at June 9, 2010 05:36 PMBeautiful shot!
Posted by Mona at June 10, 2010 11:40 AMVery nice shot. I especially like the angles. That car must be a real hassle to reverse into everyday.
Posted by Toronto Moving Companies at June 10, 2010 02:47 PMOh, yes! I love the bricks and blocks and roof tiles in all their shapes, sizes, textures and directions. What a feast for the eye. The muted palette really lets the patterns of the stones and blocks steal the show. Beautiful work.
Posted by Kikipotamus at June 10, 2010 04:30 PMI love how surprised I was to see a Clio. Strangely, it makes this photo much more like home. I've never been to Canada and haven't been to France for a couple of years, but every third person, it seems, in England have a version of this car and this dislocation seems to bring the whole world together.
Posted by LG at June 11, 2010 02:49 PM:))) Beautiful.
Posted by manolo at June 11, 2010 04:31 PMI'm from there (Chinon, Tours exactly...), so, I'm just hoping you took time to drink the famous red wine from there :)
Cheers!
Lovely shot.
Posted by Hanif Shoaei at June 13, 2010 01:21 PMI've only been to Chinon once, and this shot reminds me perfectly of that time. Driving is certainly a challenge and the narrow streets and tall buildings crate havoc with Sat Nav signals :-)
