i always look out for such sights!

yours has the blue and the walking Asian man--a sort of a message of a change in world order... :)

Posted by chyrius at May 27, 2010 05:55 AM

Excellent shot. I love the disordered order and distortion of the window panes!

Beautiful image. I see you use this camera a lot. Stunning
quality;

About 2 years ago I would have had a hard time figuring out if the walls of the reflected building were really straight and the warp due to my macular blindness. With modern medical treatment I see mostly normally now, so I know the truth here, but it surely is odd to consider these distortions and whether they are internal or external.
It does make for an excellent slightly abstract image.

Wow, brilliant shot. Did you use a super wide angle on this one? I specially love the reflection of the walking guy.

Posted by Kunal Bhatia at May 27, 2010 10:16 AM

Wow! Love it. What a great capture.

Posted by Luis Gomez at May 27, 2010 11:08 AM

This one certainly has the WOW factor.
It is mind boggling how you came up with this effect! Brilliant!

Posted by Henry Louis at May 27, 2010 11:16 AM

Whoa this is wild. I cannot for the life of me figure this out.

Posted by Kevin at May 27, 2010 11:55 AM

Posted by Don at May 27, 2010 12:25 PM

WOW! I've been following you every morning for the past six years and this is truly an amazing image Sam. I've shot something similar but no where as good as this.

Good job!

Thank you for this beautiful vision surrealist ... which juxtaposes two worlds that live on opposite each other ;))
I like the technical quality of implementation and accuracy of rendering.
Bravo!

merci pour cette belle vision complètement surréaliste... qui confronte deux mondes qui vivent à l'opposé l'un de l'autre ;))
J'aime beaucoup la qualité technique de la réalisation et la précision du rendu.
Bravo !

It was neat to see you in the shot twice!! Upper part of frame and lower part. Very cool. You made my Friday better!

Posted by JasOn at May 28, 2010 02:04 PM

My head is spinning and I'm becoming confused and nauseated...(just kidding)
I imagine this is the same feeling experienced by Mel Brooks in the movie "High Anxiety".

Please reveal to us, O Master, how you produced this strange, but fascinating photo. Thanks.

Posted by martin at May 28, 2010 04:10 PM

I've found myself returning to this engaging image again and again. Thanx!

Beautiful bent otherworldly, Escher-perfect, full of life and sky and brilliant broken surfaces -- and a self-pic, at last!

This one should be blown up as big as a wall. I want to see it much bigger than my screen.

The fractured moment.

One of your best, ever.
