Everything about this photo is beautiful. You always know when to utilise b+w. This is immediately my favourite photo out of the whole 7 years of DDOI. Absolutely wonderful.
I like it, looks like a frame from the movie of the fifties.

Posted by zem at April 27, 2010 04:38 PMThe areas of light in this image--on the man's pensive facial expression, the outdoor window scene, the emergency-exit and lift-handle signs, and his tense, gripping hand . . . Powerful combination. Nicely captured.

Posted by Dhiraj at May 7, 2010 12:20 AMThis shot has so much character. You could write a book about this man. And I love the faded color.
I feel like he's holding his belongings so carefully, like he has something in their very valuable to him...Very amazing eye you have.
The light on the side of his face and on his hand focuses perfectly on him as a person. They tell his story and stimulate the viewer to create it. Bravo!
