Comments: man on bus

Everything about this photo is beautiful. You always know when to utilise b+w. This is immediately my favourite photo out of the whole 7 years of DDOI. Absolutely wonderful.

I like it, looks like a frame from the movie of the fifties.

The areas of light in this image--on the man's pensive facial expression, the outdoor window scene, the emergency-exit and lift-handle signs, and his tense, gripping hand . . . Powerful combination. Nicely captured.

Wow..

I've been checking out your site daily for the last few months constantly impressed with every new picture but I must say this one has been the most amazing one so far. Very powerful..

Wonderful play of light and shadow. Has a timeless quality. Love the light on his hand, and the texture of the straps he's holding.

All I can say is wow.

This shot has so much character. You could write a book about this man. And I love the faded color.
I feel like he's holding his belongings so carefully, like he has something in their very valuable to him...Very amazing eye you have.

The light on the side of his face and on his hand focuses perfectly on him as a person. They tell his story and stimulate the viewer to create it. Bravo!
