Nice shot! I love the composition. Right Place Right Time with the police SUV.

Wow! a new urban superhero! Whenever things get too boring, ugly, and rigid (think white lines on pocked cement), he swoops in on his machine and splashes the scene with beauty! The dullness police are never far behind, but unless they find out about his one vulnerable spot, the bare ankle, they'll never get him. Do you suppose confetti comes out that silver thing?

A great capture of colour, scene, and personality; great balance; stasis broken by his movement into the intersection. Stripes and more stripes, colour-jolts, crispness and blur. Mmmm.

The Pied Rocket?

This is great quality for the little Panasonic. I'm curious as to why you opted out of a Canon G-Series camera? I thought you were into the G5?

cool! how did you manage to get just the biker in focus while everything else was motion-blurry?

Posted by shell at April 23, 2010 12:32 PM

Love the blur.

Love that police car in this image, make the story complete.
And he should wear socks on his bike.

I know the rider of this bike, although his name escapes me at the moment. For anyone that cares, the bike is a 2003/4 Kawasaki ZX6R with a black powdercoated frame (the original is silver/polished alum).

And yes, those really are a bunch of stickers all over the bike.
