I am wondering why you published such a miserable picture! It is obviously suffering from flare on the top right side of the image.. the reflection of sun on the windows is adding a flaw to this picture!
I also can not see a focused sharp face of the camera man..it seems the focus is on the side-beggar.
Ouch... a punch right in the stomach. Thanks for this kind of photos too.

Posted by Jim K at April 4, 2010 07:30 AMThe image of the homeless man in the background is really stark, I would have made that a focal point.
Posted by Wild Animal Gifts at April 4, 2010 10:23 AMYou capture a lot in this image - it can be easy not to "overlook" the homeless poor

"Three Men, Two Cameras"
This photo is powerful. So sad.
He's smiling taking a picture of something? A sign? A traffic light? Random object?
With a homeless, desperate PERSON, real PERSON at his feet.
How must it feel...even with a sign asking for help...to be that invisible?
Who really needs to wake up here?
Sorry, it just really jolted me.
Very deep and moving picture! The contrast between the two men is excellent.
On some level, I have to agree with Mr.Crab though: the technical aspect is far from what you usually post on this blog. The face of the photographer isn't quite sharp, the two ladies on the left tend to catch my attention, and the flare is quite disrupting too…
Posted by djib at April 5, 2010 07:53 PMawesome, one of the best social critique images you could put out there - poignant capture! bravo!
Posted by gabi savu at April 5, 2010 09:09 PMAlthough it may not be technically perfect for some, I think that the sun reflection really adds something (almost apparition-like). It also looks as though the man's camera is pointed at it.
