Love this composition and color balance
Posted by Andrey Samolinov at April 1, 2010 02:55 AMGood heavens Sam - tell me you came across that situation by chance! Do you live in Photo Op City? Beautiful shape and colours!
Posted by Peter F at April 1, 2010 03:26 AMArt of picture is very visible the natural contrast of the picture is looking like a edit and the girl wearing red upper is prominent in picture because of dark color.
Posted by Napa Wedding Photographer at April 1, 2010 07:23 AMOh, you're good. Nice work ;)
Posted by Jason Wesley at April 1, 2010 07:51 AMS-U-P-E-R-B!
Great juxtaposition (can I say that?) of red against grey. Clarity. Emphasizes the warm-blooded human against the stone-cold winter building.
This is a keeper.
It would also make a great Christmas card, IMHO.
Posted by Chris Greaves at April 1, 2010 08:18 AMPerfection. This photo will become famous.
Posted by Scott Steel at April 1, 2010 08:43 AMI'm soooooooooooooo over that snow crap. Bring on the spring!! Nice shot by the way, love contrasts in the color.
Posted by mark at April 1, 2010 08:50 AMThis photo is absolutely stunning... I can't believe you haven't gotten 1000 comments; it's so amazing with the red coat, the snow, and the perfect but candid positioning of the subject.
Posted by Kimberly Way at April 1, 2010 09:59 AMHi,
I love this shot...how long did you have to wait for it.
A huge fan of yours
Sylvia
this one is amazing! (most of yours are). the only thing i would have preferred differently would be for the red subject to be non-centered... maybe if she were much to the left. actually, i don't know. maybe i'd prefer centered, heh.
Posted by chris tanner at April 1, 2010 01:03 PMtremendous shot.
not today's weather tho. Yay spring.
When was it snowy exactly? we're averaging 23 degrees Celsius here in Guelph Ontario (40 mins away from Toronto).

Posted by crash at April 4, 2010 11:50 AMI used to live on McCaul St, 20 years ago. That shot reminds me of trekking off to Ryerson every day in the dead of winter. I got wise, moved to BC and bought a car.
