(Note: on CSI, they could zoom and "enhance" the reflection so that you could tell not only what software he's using, but translate the audio waveforms in the visible timeline to reconstruct the original sound recording. Those guys are magic.)
You can see a reflection of the killer in his eyeball!

Posted by J0hnnyb at January 22, 2010 09:05 AMIt's good you were off to the side. From right in front at that distance you would surely steal his soul.
Nice shot.
WOW! What I like in this photograph is the reflection in the eye. The angle and close-up also allow us to see the shapes of the eye and the colours around the lens. I also like the way that the hairs of the eyebrow are depicted. The could be the beginning of a series. Your colleagues are very kind about allowing you to photograph them.
Posted by Barbara M at January 22, 2010 09:50 AMit remind me one of OL songs:
Look into my eyes
Tell me what ya see
U don't see a damn thing
Cuz u can't relate to me

perfect
Sam,
Did you blur his nose manually? Cuz the depth of field looks less than f/2.8...just asking!
By the way, It's a great macro!
Wow. I'd daresay "pretty good" is an understatement! Very sharp.. simply amazing.
Posted by Chris at January 22, 2010 01:22 PMYour eyebrow has me freaked out. The individual hairs seem to be pointing in the wrong direction.
It reminds me of some insect in the larval stage of development.Ugggh.
This is incredible! I could never hold that still to take a handheld.
