Comments: the missing man

What makes it especially intriguing is the empty scooter in the background.

The invisible one legged man. :)

Gee I was thinking the guy was missing from the scooter and probably in the bank but the lost shoe I think confirms alien abduction instead.

Is this the same missing man as the one missing from the electric wheelchair?

That's a really interesting photo. A mystery...the shoe, the coffee cup, the two bags of what seem like rubbish, and the vacant scooter...

Maybe the shoe is connected to the driverless vehicle parked outside the bank? I LOVE your eye for unusual situations that most of us wouldn't even notice.

This scene looks like the end of the world! shoe, bags, garbage, and the empty Disabled scooter, Yuyks!

I noticed the full bags first, haha.

I think the one legged driver of the scooter had a flat battery and had no choice but to crawl home, losing his one shoe on the way. I hope he made safely. !

Love how desolate this looks. Streets are supposed to be busy, not here.

At first I thought that someone has been hit by the rail system.

I always wonder about single shoes. They are a wonderful stimulus for creating stories.

Very eerie...the ONE shoe, the rubbish, the empty scooter and the cold, wet street make for a fascinating image that one can ponder for quite some time.
