Nice observation. After spending last winter in upstate NY, I craved green. I am profoundly happy to be back in Oregon where it's green all year.

I just shovelled our first shovellable snowfall here in Milwaukee. I was tossing snow onto some flowers (alyssum) that were still blooming and green two days ago when I examined them. Nature is amazing.

The contrast in greys and the texture of ground and wall make the green leaves pop. I love it!
