I've had this happen to my glass desk. Horrid sight to come home to! Glad everything's alright.

Dang!

New desk time is always sweet...

Nobody believed me that the dogs would rise up and create trouble...Well here's the proof!

Posted by michael at November 13, 2009 01:28 AM

Ouch! That's quite a mess! I love how nonchalant the dog looks in the pic you linked, like he did but damned if he cares!

Hi Sam, good morning
I guess I'll never buy a glass desk, then.

I'm Pedro, from Portugal. Long time visitor, first time "commenter" =)
Very cool working space. You work in photography full-time? (Lightroom on the screen).

Posted by Pedro Cardoso at November 13, 2009 02:25 AM

Woah! Amazing pictures today! Shame there is no video of the incident...

Posted by Urda at November 13, 2009 03:30 AM

Is your co-worker still allowed to bring his dog to work? =)
Bet the dog was scared himself.

Wow,sad photo, what a bummer! A friend of mine has just bought glass tables, i will forward this to him!

Let me guess, Turbo is now no longer welcome in the office.

Posted by ROB at November 13, 2009 06:44 AM

WOW!

Posted by rob at November 13, 2009 09:02 AM

Sha-do-bee, I've been shattered . . .

Posted by ChrisToronto at November 13, 2009 09:11 AM

I can understand you downtown types trying to shatter the glass ceiling, but the glass FLOOR?!!

(I am truly glad to hear that no-one was hurt; especially the dog!)

Posted by Chris Greaves at November 13, 2009 09:15 AM

Good thing that is tempered glass (at least it looks like it is).

Posted by brian at November 13, 2009 09:17 AM

Turbo's a good lookin' dog. Nice shot of him. I dare say your boss might like a shot at him about now. Fancy glass work stations aren't cheap.
Nice to know you work in a class glass joint.
It's Friday the 13th. I suppose this should be considered expectable.
May the day improve.

Posted by Hugh Petrie at November 13, 2009 09:40 AM

Bummer :( At least it made for a great photo you could have likely never created otherwise. :)

Posted by Michelle at November 13, 2009 10:15 AM

Re Broken, you should have at least posted a pic of the alleged fuzzy perpetrator :)

Nice shots, though. There have been times when I might have wanted to do something similar to my computer...

What kind of person ties a dog to the leg of a glass desk? would you tie your dog to the handle of an expensive crystal goblet?

i don't intend to be mean, but when the structure of a desk is supported entirely by glass, you don't fasten fast-moving objects to any part of it. all the dog has to do is THINK he saw a squirrel and that very expensive table is busted.

That's the sign of a true artist who has glass splintered all around them and thinks, "Hey, that would make a great shot." Also, glad no one was hurt, especially that adorable dog. I'm really digging that glass pile shot.

Posted by KIm at November 13, 2009 12:22 PM

Very nice

Posted by Petru at November 13, 2009 12:41 PM

CRAZY! What an awesome shot, though!

Posted by Diana at November 13, 2009 12:53 PM

What's your first reaction?

1. "Quick! Someone call the police!"
2. "Where's the broom?"
3. "I'm not cleaning this up!"
4. "What happened to my desk?!"
5. "Did anyone get hurt?"
6. "Was there an earthquake?"
7. "Hang on a minute while I get my camera."

Guess which one is the photographer.

Posted by Kevin at November 13, 2009 02:41 PM

The EXTENT some photographers will go to, to get a dramatic shot, honestly!! ;) in the end..it's just glass.. and an experience. The dog is great, and hey, just being a dog.

Posted by DariaS at November 13, 2009 03:42 PM

I think the real question is:
"Who ties a BULLDOG to a glass desk?!"
hehe - I'm glad everything is ok.

Posted by James at November 13, 2009 04:34 PM

The handset didn't even fall off the phone?!?

Posted by Lisa Pearl at November 13, 2009 06:26 PM

This one Sam puts a whole new spin on that eternal question,

"Is the glass half empty or is it half full?"

Something like that.

Posted by HiMY SYeD at November 14, 2009 12:19 AM

Just to be fair, the caption does not say the dog was tied. It said the dog pulled. Coulda been with his mouth. Coulda been.

Posted by Beni at November 14, 2009 10:26 AM

Wow that looks terrible. Lucky that no one was hurt.

Posted by Frida at November 14, 2009 06:16 PM

Looks pretty dramatic, hope the dog did not get hurt!

Posted by PowerPoint Templates at November 15, 2009 08:54 AM

how i laught when i saw the dog - it looked so guilty!

Posted by minimodi at November 18, 2009 06:58 AM
