Gorgeous.
Posted by Dave at October 2, 2009 02:08 AMAmazingly crisp lighting and reflection. B&W seems like an odd choice, but it works uncannily well. I especially like reflection of the sun. The mood of this image is almost surreal.
Posted by Ryan Rahn at October 2, 2009 03:36 AMLovin' that contrast, the light and the lines of perspective; excellent!
Posted by David H-W at October 2, 2009 06:02 AMNice Shot. The black and white touch is very effective in this shot.
Posted by Beamer at October 2, 2009 07:36 AMi really really like this, good choice with the b&w.
Posted by morgannn at October 2, 2009 08:06 AMI like the perspective and symmetry.
Posted by PowerPoint Templates at October 2, 2009 09:14 AMVery picturesque compared to what I loosely remember from 40 years ago. Old warehouse style buildings, with some residents in upper floors and stores along the Yonge sides. Unless I'm confusing stuff after so long. Progress in appearance at least. Good shot. The reflections on the right are especially interesting balance in it.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at October 2, 2009 11:32 AMGreat lighting and reflections on this one. I think the b&w makes it.
Posted by Seth at October 2, 2009 01:33 PMLike a scene from 'I am Legend" when the city is 'naked' and people gone.
Great use of light.
Stunning! B&W is so elegant. I would love to be able to use this as a desktop wallpaper!
