Comments: clouds on green

Just curious - what is being grown there?

It's quite beautiful as a scene, but my brain asks, what's the stuff growing in the field?
On the right side of the great cloud show is an arm sticking out hand up with a great thumb. Maybe a bit of Michael Angelo's God giving life to Adam?
