This one has both the wow factor, the lean factor and the memory factor. Awsome it came from a compact too.

one monument in the dark

It almost looks like that needle, can "play" the tune of the skies, just like in a gramophone :)
Clever and minimalistic photo.

Brilliant! This is a view of the CN Tower I have never seen in a photo. Not your usual daytime, from a distance, clear day photo or night-time all lit-up photo. The angle and the clouds and the B&W make this a unique look at a piece of architecture that I can see from my apartment balcony everyday. Well done!

Wow Sam, this is spectacular.

Interesting how the clouds look like they are swirling about the tower top. The B&W is quite effective here. Good one, Sam.

CN Tower?!! You finally caved Sam :)

Hi Sam The CN tower looks like a rocket taking off into swirling clouds, both dangerous-looking and mysterious. This may be an unconscious tribute to Julie Payette, the Canadian astonaut, who lokks very well in the photographs of the crew after their safe landing.

Great in B&W.. love the dramatic sky.

This could be the best CN Tower picture I've seen -- and I've done a few myself! Well done. Actually, when I think about it, this is really a sky and cloud picture, isn't it, and the tower just happens to be there? Good stuff, either way.

Love the marbelized effect of the clouds...

This is so great. To me, it almost looks like the CN tower has toppled over and is falling into the Lake Ontario (head going in first)...

haven't seen a better CN tower picture than this..

This looks awesome. The B&W suits very well, a great capture!

love it, seems like CN tower is falling.

Posted by Behnaz at August 4, 2009 01:59 AM

It's like a cloth has been lowered over the tower which makes it feel compacted and even claustrophobic.. surreal.. not being familiar with the tower possibly helps this feeling along.
It’s a tickler…imho

CN Tower looks like a spaceship flying to the space...
