oh wow. awesome.
Posted by mel at August 2, 2009 03:33 AMThis one has both the wow factor, the lean factor and the memory factor. Awsome it came from a compact too.

Posted by rifai at August 2, 2009 04:48 AMIt almost looks like that needle, can "play" the tune of the skies, just like in a gramophone :)
Clever and minimalistic photo.
Brilliant! This is a view of the CN Tower I have never seen in a photo. Not your usual daytime, from a distance, clear day photo or night-time all lit-up photo. The angle and the clouds and the B&W make this a unique look at a piece of architecture that I can see from my apartment balcony everyday. Well done!
Posted by Anthony Schatzky at August 2, 2009 07:57 AMWow Sam, this is spectacular.
Posted by Richard at August 2, 2009 08:14 AMInteresting how the clouds look like they are swirling about the tower top. The B&W is quite effective here. Good one, Sam.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at August 2, 2009 09:15 AMThe shot is wicked! I actually said WOW out-loud when the page opened this morning.
thx
anne
CN Tower?!! You finally caved Sam :)
Posted by Mehrad at August 2, 2009 10:23 AMHi Sam The CN tower looks like a rocket taking off into swirling clouds, both dangerous-looking and mysterious. This may be an unconscious tribute to Julie Payette, the Canadian astonaut, who lokks very well in the photographs of the crew after their safe landing.
Posted by Barbara M at August 2, 2009 10:52 AMGreat in B&W.. love the dramatic sky.
Posted by matthijs at August 2, 2009 11:29 AMThis could be the best CN Tower picture I've seen -- and I've done a few myself! Well done. Actually, when I think about it, this is really a sky and cloud picture, isn't it, and the tower just happens to be there? Good stuff, either way.
Posted by Jack at August 2, 2009 01:31 PMLove the marbelized effect of the clouds...
Posted by Caroline at August 2, 2009 02:28 PMThis is so great. To me, it almost looks like the CN tower has toppled over and is falling into the Lake Ontario (head going in first)...
Posted by Kelly at August 3, 2009 01:28 AMhaven't seen a better CN tower picture than this..
Posted by shikher at August 3, 2009 06:08 AMThis looks awesome. The B&W suits very well, a great capture!
Posted by Frida at August 3, 2009 04:35 PMlove it, seems like CN tower is falling.
Posted by Behnaz at August 4, 2009 01:59 AMIt's like a cloth has been lowered over the tower which makes it feel compacted and even claustrophobic.. surreal.. not being familiar with the tower possibly helps this feeling along.
It’s a tickler…imho
Very beautiful and impressive. I like your title.
Posted by Vanilla Wine at August 4, 2009 03:18 PMBrilliant!
CN Tower looks like a spaceship flying to the space...
