I've really liked your blog, in fact, I got lost in it for a while. I tried to post a comment when I first landed here, but somehow I botched it and lost it, so this is another try.
I had never seen those little triangular towers for wine-racks. Great idea. I think there is a possible marketing idea (want to make honest penny?) in such little towers, designed for use in a large living room or loft-sized apartment, holding less bottles (you would not want too many kept in an uncontrolled environment for an indefinite period of time). The design could be modified to have holes only in the four or five top rows, or you could make the towers shorter, but I do like the idea of making the tower as a statement: they are quite decorative. Anyway, you can run with it.

After trying to post the first comment, I read who you were. You might not be interested in wine? If you are, let me tell you about something available in Toronto, if you have not come across it yet. One of my best friends from childhood lives in Toronto, and she goes to one of those places where you can make your own wine and beer. It's a little bit of work, it is a lot of fun, and you know exactly what goes into your wine, you can choose your own labels, etc., and the price works out cheaper and better for the money than anything commercially available. If you and your family drink wine, I heartily recommend it.

Also, thank you so much for the Captain Haddock link. I think Haddock drank mainly whisky, but I see your young friend refers to him as being "ginxed", so perhaps he also favors gin, when nothing else is available!

Keep shooting! I am a talent scout... No, seriously, you are good.

Cheers!

The bottom pic is almost monocromatic. Intresting if it is the original.
