That's beautiful thanks Sam. May MJ finally rest in peace. I can highly recommend this thread started by studio professionals who got to know him, some really great stories... http://www.gearslutz.com/board/so-much-gear-so-little-time/401331-robmix-tell-us-about-mj.html

absolutely phenomenal concept !

:) Awesome. Very well thought out.
The moonwalking makes what would be a normally very sombre picture into something that makes you smile.
You have such a talent.

haha very nice, the most nonchalant moonwalk ever.

It was such a simple tribute - but really wonderful to see. And not too bad with the moonwalker either.

Hey ...

Very nice shot, as always ... But I've got a question ... Did you blur the background in post or it's the lens effect?

Posted by Ali Afghah at July 3, 2009 12:29 PM

Looks good to me. Someone has worked hard to make a memorial this fast.

The word lost a great talent albeit it a man with a very strange and perhaps even troubling history. I'm not sure what to think of him. I think his music had an amazing impact but I feel very conflicted because of the allegations that followed him through the years. I am however growing tired of the media coverage. It seems there are many much more important matters going on in the world today and the 24/7 attention to his story seems over the top to me.

This is of course a really great shot.

Great shot. Well thought out idea. Like the fact he's wearing white socks with black shoes a la MJ.

Did you add a blur to the background in photoshop?

Posted by Andrew at July 10, 2009 04:18 AM

Very well done.
