I watched the video clip in mute (girlfriend is sleeping next to me) and for a moment, it has the funny look of a reversed video that you achieve in post.

Such a strange and sad end to a strange and rather sad life. He was a great talent...I'm not so sure about the rest of the story though. His life was a circus.
