Posted by Heiko at May 20, 2009 04:25 AMA great photo! I love the red color on the blue pavement.
Posted by bee at May 20, 2009 04:31 AMhow sad. very nice picture. The bike passing makes this picture even more interesting.
Posted by matt at May 20, 2009 07:53 AMhmmmm....I think these may be apples, rather than tomatoes...could be wrong though.. :)
Posted by Marilyn at May 20, 2009 08:31 AMI like the minimal content here and the use of basically one color. I also want to thank you for your blog. It has inspired me to create my own blog where I try to put up one photo per day!

Those are rather applesque-looking tomatoes to me...
Posted by annia at May 20, 2009 09:50 AMapples...
Posted by xzhou at May 20, 2009 09:54 AMI've been following your blog for a while now.
I have to say that this is a very hard work to take pictures in the same city. I know I get easily bored with everyday surroundings.
But you manage to keep fresh look into TO's everyday life.
Great job!
Interesting capture! I like the lines in this picture! And i like tomatoes:D
Posted by Bogdan at May 20, 2009 10:47 AMReminds me on that other joke in "Pulp Fiction" :D
Was that your idea, Sam?
Posted by Caro at May 20, 2009 11:36 AMpoor apples!

Posted by westend x west at May 21, 2009 02:49 AMgreat graphics - well spotted! That cold/warm, linear/curved, still/moving contrasts are really well composed
Posted by Markus Spring at May 21, 2009 03:05 AMThis brought a smile to my face. I thought at first they were apples too. It's a shame all those tomatoes are going to waste! I love tomatoes! This is a wonderful composition and the glimpse of the cyclist is brilliant.
Posted by Laurie at May 21, 2009 07:31 AMAn example of our wasteful society. Good catch of a dumb thing!
Posted by Hugh Petrie at May 21, 2009 10:18 AMOh for the love of God you pedantic jerks!! Will you stop it?? The guy who took the photo from a reletively close range says they're tomatoes...just live it down!!!
And even if they're really apples and not tomatoes! Is it important???
Every time I see 200 comments I know the mob is at it: correcting some sort of irrelevant detail. Do you guys have any thoughts on the picture perhaps?
I'm sorry I HAD to get this off my chest...this has been bugging me for a while especially whenever Sam gets a car make/model wrong...boom 300 corrections!!!
Nice picture by the way.
Posted by Kiana at May 25, 2009 06:14 PMI hope you didn't have to rearrange those tomatoes. lol. they're in perfect position in this shot!
Posted by rabbittrick at May 26, 2009 09:30 AMGreat Picture! I love it.
