Awesome image. Beauty in distortion. The image is attractive despite the large amount of information in it. I'm drawn to this pic

wow! very nice!
can you post a tutorial/tricks on how to shoot and stitch this kind of picture? :)

Posted by tommy at April 17, 2009 04:45 AM

Simply amazing.

Posted by Anjana at April 17, 2009 07:30 AM

Very cool. I though the first shot is a planet shot you have created in Photoshop and the lights looked like balloons.

Dude, that is some awesome technology right there. That Krpano Flash player is amazing, "Little Planet" mode is great!

How did you make a 360 panorama in (what seems) one second?

I get your posts by e-mail so I don't respond (often), but I'd just like to say I admire your photography. Inspires me to get off my butt and make photo's. So thank you :)

Super cute chick in green top. Wonder what music she's listing too..

Posted by Hyperdreamz at April 17, 2009 09:26 AM

Absolutely awesome as usual. I'm always amazed how well you manage to stitch these and also get the central ground area done so well. Totally excellent.

In the panorama it looks Zaphod Beeblebrox is attending!

Wow...great photo! I've done some panorama shooting before and tried a few different types of software for stitching and rendering as a flash file. Just curious what you're using. Any info on your process would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks..and wow again. =)

Outstanding pic.

It's interesting how the photographer completely disappears from the scene...

Sam, is that you with the black tshirt holding the SLR camera?

I am always amazed at these VR shots and the fact that there are no tripod or feet in the photograph.

Is the whole shot taken at once or is it a succession of shots stitched together?

Dennis.

That's very creative! I've got to look into this, the rendering is great!

Posted by Averi at April 20, 2009 03:58 PM

I am also curious how to make the little planets and panorama like that.

Unbelievable! I've never seen anything like this before. How did you do it? What are some ways that my corporate clients might use this in their marketing?

And really, technology aside, your photographs are beautiful! Genius stuff. ;)
