very nice shot
Posted by Olivier Jules at April 11, 2009 08:09 AMIt's a sad perspective on our civilization, but everything grows old and decays. We're barely able to keep up with it, it seems. Some changes are hard to take.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at April 11, 2009 09:24 AMNice shot! I like this one a lot, even though I don't know Sam the recordman. What happened to the other part of the inscription, erased by what/who? It creates the impression that even before the destruction, something was already missing... Strange and beautiful.

Posted by Boreo at April 11, 2009 02:20 PMSam - When are you going to shoot the front from west side of Yonge St.?
Posted by Mark Moore at April 11, 2009 06:04 PMYou should make some sort of montage for all the pictures you have of the stores at it's deconstruction stages!
Posted by Rosh at April 12, 2009 05:44 PMYeah this is sad. I was sad to hear when it closed, and it's sad to see it go. I usually stay in this area of Toronto when I visit... though last time I was there it was still open.
