I bet he'll have a hard time finding these!
Posted by Robin at April 10, 2009 01:08 AMMaybe they belong to Clark Kent?
Posted by Stephanie at April 10, 2009 01:36 AMLovely find! ..... and great way to capture it.... the lady in Red is making a beautiful backdrop!
Posted by Anshuman Johri at April 10, 2009 02:22 AMDifficult for him/her to find them back again I guess, haha. The walker in the background makes this good.
Posted by vg at April 10, 2009 02:39 AMMaybe they're reading glasses?
Posted by Andrew at April 10, 2009 03:46 AMwow! super-clever composition! I love this!
Posted by Francesca Mucciaccio at April 10, 2009 05:07 AMPerhaps they're your glasses, and that's why the background is all blurry ;)
Posted by Cameron at April 10, 2009 09:52 AMThat poses some questions: Did the person drop them accidentally? Were they hit by a car or otherwise injured, taken away by ambulance with their glasses left unnoticed? They look seriously blind and may not have been able to see where they dropped them. And who knows what other might be the case.
Makes a good shot. Perhaps someone who knows the loser may see this - serendipity is a common factor in my life - like God seeing us get what we need.
That's kind of sad...really.
Posted by bitterbetty at April 10, 2009 10:35 AMi love how out of focus the background is
Posted by shadow at April 10, 2009 10:41 AMThe primary colours are striking.
Posted by Jain at April 11, 2009 08:09 AMWell, maybe Jesus rubbed mud in his eyes.
Posted by John at April 11, 2009 10:49 AMSomeone had probably lost that pair of glasses and a passerby picked it up and placed it on the yellow post to prevent further damage from foot/vehicle traffic. The person retracing his/her steps would appreciate it upon finding the pair.
Yonge and Edward? Is the World's Biggest Bookstore still around? I haven't been down in that area in ages...
Posted by Robin at April 11, 2009 11:07 AMAs Hugh says, it does open a lot of questions. Photographically, I love the flash of yellow and red and the blurred background
Posted by one way photo / Mark at April 11, 2009 03:10 PMBEAUTIFUL photo
Posted by mariana at April 12, 2009 01:44 AMnice capture... and as everybody says the red lady makes it even better
Posted by Eros at April 12, 2009 07:12 AMOn the bright side, maybe the owner has just had eye surgery to correct his/her shortsightedness and won't need them anymore!
Posted by Carm at April 13, 2009 12:38 PMGreat shot. I love the refractions in glasses lenses.
Posted by Tom at April 18, 2009 11:17 AMThat's are my glasses!!!
