That's got to be one of the funniest buildings I've seen yet. A huge oversized pair of binoculars on end, beside a huge dump truck. Hilarious. He's some joker!

Fun..this the now the home of DDB Advertising. I've been in this having a few friends who work there. The bldg. to the right is black now and doesnt look like that so much anymore though.

This is just around the corner from where I used to live in Venice in the mid-90's. Takes up a whole LA-sized block. I remember when it was new and the copper clad building on the right was unbelievably reflective. After the dot com bust, Chiat moved out and the thing turned into a gigantic ghost ship. Glad to hear that it's occupied again.

(If I recall correctly, the binoculars are by Claes Oldenburg.)
