Wow! Lovely panning shot!
Posted by Abhijit Dharmadhikari at March 12, 2009 07:50 AMGreat shot! I love the sense of movement. I can never get shots like this. I always screw them up somehow and they end up a blurry mess.
Posted by Alice at March 12, 2009 08:06 AMI fail at doing these effectively. I also give up too easily. I must try harder!
You do these so well. This is excellent.
Posted by Laurie at March 12, 2009 11:14 AMGood grief. I rode bike in Ottawa for 17 years through all the winter ice and snow and freezing 20 below or more - age 50 to 67. Way better than a car or buss and not so cold as waiting for a buss or walking. And inexpensive! And without a helmet which I found quite uncomfortable to wear and interference with warm headgear.
4 inches of snow is just exercise.
Have a warm happy day Sam.

How did you take this?
Were you on a bike as well?
I absolutely love this picture!

Greetings from Poland.
That's a nice bike she has. It looks like a one-to-one gear street cruiser or hybrid. I like the pink and baby blue mudflaps. The handle bar, center bar and water bottle all match the back one.
She's also got a nice helmet and face mask. I can't imagine biking in weather that cold. Coldest it gets down here was about 30 degrees. That was a crazy bike ride.
Oh and check out her leg warmers. How cute!
