Looks like you got a good spot for taking the picture, and it turned out just fine. Nice b/w convert too.

Posted by alishapal at March 10, 2009 02:52 AMThis is wonderful. I've always wanted to shoot a live show from this perspective.
Posted by jiGGafellz at March 10, 2009 04:26 AMGreat Shot - very impressed by the quality at iso 3200. Love your work by the way, a check this blog almost every day - I must have seen you on the street because I work at 1 Dundas West !
Posted by PJMixer at March 10, 2009 09:02 AMA great high ISO shot indeed! I really like the symmetry you've been able to capture. Great framing as well.
Posted by Jay at March 10, 2009 09:08 AMi love all your photos! =) but in this photo, i particularly love how you can see the shadow of the performers.

Yikes, the dark areas look noisy to a distracting degree in the small version. The larger version doesn't look quite as bad, but the small one... The 5D II is certainly capable of great low-light ISO, though. This is at ISO 3200, also without noise reduction (and without having to brighten shadows).
Posted by Seinberg at March 10, 2009 10:27 AMIt's eerie, the audience looks like ghosts.
Amazing photo, as always.
Posted by Gabriel at March 10, 2009 12:14 PMAmazing shot! I love the noise, it makes this shot better imo!
