The sunlight through the heavy overcast is almost surreal adding a tiny bit of warmth to this cold winter landscape. I can imagine a cat curled up in the warmth of a patch of sunlight streaming in though one of those windows.

This looks so very cold and bleak, with that heavy blanket of grey overhead, but then there is that wonderful pool of sunshine and light on the right. To me it's a visual metaphor for the imminent arrival of Spring - and I love it.

I look at your photos everyday, but this one moves me in particular. The dark sky, the light on the houses? I dunno. But I love it.
