Cool picture! The tip was very useful for me because I like to photograph performing arts :)
By the way, I have been following this blog for a while and I think you take great pictures!
what a surreal scene perfect captured
Posted by BoB at February 4, 2009 06:46 AMnice shot! it actually looks like the actor is under water with the snow falling like that.... very national geographic night diver feeling.
also i am loving these tips man! keep em coming!
Posted by //d. at February 4, 2009 07:34 AMThis is amazing, one of my favorites of yours. The framing is great and the diver is tac sharp. Great job I actually thought this was under water untill I read the caption.
Posted by P.T. Korson at February 4, 2009 08:57 AMI have never seen a street performer like this.. what a clever use of light, snow, and imagination.. Great tip on capturing such a shot! Thanks again. I visit you daily.
Posted by Francis at February 4, 2009 11:27 AMI like this shot - it is illusion"esque". Thanks Sam.

Posted by effat at February 4, 2009 04:21 PMThank you for the tip! I was just wondering if setting the EV to -1 or -2 is the same as using Manual mode and setting to the right configurations? Thank you.
Posted by Ning at February 4, 2009 10:21 PMThanks for including the tip. Please include these with more of your photos. Tips on post processing would also be greatly appreciated.

Posted by Arthur at February 5, 2009 06:34 PMNice work Sam. A very clever and surreal image. All components of the photograph contribute to the whole - colour balance is spot on. Wish i could see the performance in person.
:)
Thanks for the tip!
