Excellent documentary shot. These protesters braved the cold and snow for the cause. I applaud their dedication, although I am embarrassed to admit I don't know a lot about it. I will have to look it up.

Photographically well translated: the dark silhouettes and the comparatively small yellow patch are nicely balancing.

The whole story is all too sad: Whilst there was and is a reason for the tamils to aspire changes in their country, the fight of their liberation army is of countless cruelties against the enemy and suspected traitors among their own people. Mind you, the Sri Lanka government is of equal cruelty, and rule of law is far from reality in this country, only terror, corruption and barely masked will for power.

I really like the depth in this image. The big snow flakes up front contrasting with the distant flakes falling on the people. I also love the texture of the snow gathering on their cloths.

We've had countless rally's in Toronto and are going to Washington, DC to also spread awareness of the genocidal crisis unfolding in Sri Lanka against Tamils.
