NO WAYYY!!! I literally just got here in san francisco about 8 hours ago. I have a view that is almost like this.. amazing!
Posted by david at January 26, 2009 01:46 AMVery cool. I've only been to SF but never lucky enough for this scene.
Posted by virginia photographer at January 26, 2009 02:48 AMwow what a view!! Beautiful.
Posted by Frida at January 26, 2009 03:08 AMU'd have to pay me bigtime to see me live in that "thing". I really hope the little one waves "good bye, big city"
Posted by Picstopick at January 26, 2009 04:41 AMBeautiful View! I like the crop more then the fullsize!
Posted by Dirk at January 26, 2009 06:32 AMNow that's a view of San Francisco that I've never seen. Not even something close. I'm sure someone has done it, but it isn't common. Odd!
Thanks for the view.
thank you. these days we need a bit of sunshine and warmth!
Posted by scott webb at January 26, 2009 10:27 AMGotta love the powder-blue Z3 coming around the bend : )

Posted by Jonathan Castellino at January 26, 2009 12:02 PMGreat work again Sam. Would it be possible to start providing your work in standard and widescreen wallpaper sizes. There are several I would love to use as my wallpaper but the size just off slightly.
Keep up the great work.
Posted by Ryan at January 26, 2009 12:40 PMgreat shot sam... it's rare to see such a clear view of the whole city =)
Posted by gee-Hsien Chuang at January 26, 2009 01:16 PMI am currently in SF, missing the snow... NOT =p
I was wondering if you can share the GPS coordinates of this spot? I've been driving around a bit looking for such a view.
Posted by someguy at January 26, 2009 01:47 PMI don't know if it's just me but I can NEVER see your picture links when you link to flickr. Always get page cannot be displayed. From my home, my work, my phone, wherever. 3 different ISP's. Any idea why, anyone?
Posted by Anon at January 26, 2009 02:42 PMThis makes me miss SF even more.
Posted by Scott Johnson at January 26, 2009 03:25 PMI just found myself a new desktop background! Thanks.
Posted by Mr.Flynn at January 26, 2009 03:31 PMIt's interesting to see such a dense urban layout with a few small hills with nothing man made on them in the foreground. Like little islands.
In the eastern US, I imagine that those small looking hills would have been bulldozed long ago in the name of progress.
Posted by Mark B at January 26, 2009 04:38 PMAhhhh, you have given me hope that these bleak & cold Toronto days will come to an end! The full size picture is great, too!
Posted by Stephanie at January 26, 2009 06:52 PMoh warmth. how I miss thee.
Posted by mel at January 26, 2009 07:01 PMThe cement jungle of San Fran. I like it.
I like all of your titles for your photos. I can never expect what your photo's main focus is about (like the Vodka picture).
Wow, talk about urban sprawl... Cool shot.
Posted by Alice at January 26, 2009 08:10 PMIt's a lovely perspective! Nice looking sky!
Posted by Abhijit Dharmadhikari at January 26, 2009 09:06 PMGorgeous. Your photos are brilliant. I can't get along without my daily dose of imagery.
Posted by Melissa Blewitt at January 26, 2009 10:56 PMBeautiful picture. I lived in the San Francisco area for near 10 years, and never saw this shot.
Posted by Daniel at January 27, 2009 12:12 AM( ^__^) j'aime beaucoup ce paysage! Bravo!
Posted by ryoeos at January 27, 2009 01:26 AMNice pic, makes me remember these lines in a song that go: What a sunny day! Not a cloud was in the sky. Not a negative word was heard from the people passing by....
Posted by jojigirl at January 27, 2009 02:07 AMthere's a dog in the car

Was this picture taken on the Twin Peaks?
