I know that they have sometimes had to suspend Ferry service on the Hudson between NY and NJ on occasion due to ice...it is rare but it happens. I get the feeling it will happen this year.
This is a wonderfully executed shot. It really puts the viewer there.

And, thanks for the tip on photographing snow. I've been successful on my last snow shoot, but for the life of me, I couldn't remember what it was that I did that worked. It was the EV setting. I got lucky but now I know (thanks to you) what it was that I did!
I was thinking in terms of broken mirror so the name caught me off guard at first too. Loved it.
