Comments: seats and feet

An uncommon viewpoint!

Have you found benefits to RAW (vs. jpeg)?

Is it just me, or have you taken a picture like this before, except with a ticket on the floor?

You seem to be able to get a good picture out of almost anything, which is one of the things I admire from you. The other thing I admire is that you have posted a picture every day since august 2004. I have had my photoblog up for a month, and posting every day is a tough task.

Keep up the good work, I enjoy it a lot! A.

Fantastic shot... a comment also... Canon point and shoot cameras are not advertised as being able to shoot in raw mode, but without even hacking the firmware, you can drag and drop a program CHDK onto the memory card and get TONS more options, including shooting in RAW and scripting up to 10 exposure shots with the built in software. Even more is possible with some tinkering.

Very interesting picture. The PoV is very unique and grabs your attn immediately. Still, I imagine you hated keeping your camera on the floor of the bus... even for a second! Hehe

Hey Sam! Although I'm a big fan, I am forced to leave my first negative comment. This picture does nothing for me. I'm not sure what your subject is! If it's a grimy street-car floor, I guess you've succeeded in capturing it well. If your subject is the man at the end he's out of focus and against the light. I don't know I simply don't like this picture at all. Better get back to your fancy 5D! :)

I like it. And another one saying yes to the LX3 :)

Sam, it's not just you.

Looks like the same bus. Little different angle though.
