Posted by Richard Hayter at December 2, 2008 03:38 AMThe sadness in this shot is overwhelming. Beautifully captured!
Posted by mark at December 2, 2008 05:40 AMThis is so sad but never the less a very good picture I really like the composition.
Posted by Frida at December 2, 2008 06:54 AMFinally I will comment.
I am a follower of your work for years and you are a reference for me.
I am Portuguese in Lisbon.
Big picture as always.
Greetings

fantastic capture... the top 2/3rds of the photo does not really contribute much however.
Posted by langford at December 2, 2008 07:42 AMWow, this is a moving photo.
Posted by Daniel at December 2, 2008 07:58 AMPuuh, great job, very well done.
Posted by Thomas Winzer at December 2, 2008 10:05 AMNice one. It also would really make a good cropped photo in the bottom 3rd of the frame.
Posted by Kimberly Way at December 2, 2008 01:28 PMKind of a nasty place to sit. A lot of people go to the washroom there...
Posted by David at December 2, 2008 03:19 PMInitially i thought you'd lost the plot, and then i scrolled down the image. The subsequent impact was heart-felt Sam - congrats on an emotive piece. The muted tones in the lower half of the image work very well. Its sharp where it needs to be. Im wondering if the contrast and highlights on the building (top right) are a product of post-processing or the LX3? Thanks mate. Great job as usual.
Posted by Skiman at December 2, 2008 04:31 PMGreat image, great form of presentation. Opening the page, not getting it, closing it, re-opening it, searching for the pointe by the hint of the title finally I scrolled down and got it. So 10 points for the usage of the medium internet on top!
Posted by Markus Spring at December 3, 2008 02:29 AMHelluva picture. Well done.
Posted by Jack at December 3, 2008 08:30 AMVery cool shot! Well spotted.
I fully agree with the comment of Skiman.
Posted by LightningPaul at December 3, 2008 08:47 AMWow. I'm from Mississauga, but I surprised myself by knowing exactly where this is - it's probably my favourite place in all of the GTA. =D
I wonder if I know that man, too - I've made acquaintances of many of the regulars there. =\ They've spirit.
Thanks for the emotive shot Sam - I think I like these kind the best.
