Ahh, love the tilt shift lens photos, absolutely beautiful Sam. Cheers!
Posted by Aman at October 22, 2008 02:39 AMFantastic shot, Lensbaby? :)
Anyhow, looks like a model railroad/city at the first glance.
Great use of tilt-shift lens. I love the toy town feel.
Posted by Sule Bryan at October 22, 2008 05:57 AMInteresting photo. It looks like a miniature village.
Posted by Carlsky at October 22, 2008 08:11 AMWow...that looks like a picture of a train set!
Posted by Coffespaz at October 22, 2008 08:30 AMThat lens is just great. Cool photo.
Posted by alexandru savu at October 22, 2008 08:50 AMI'm loving the perspective on these latest shots. Keep up the good work and thanks for the inspiration!
Posted by blumagus at October 22, 2008 09:13 AMpowerful shot! I like the trail of cars to the right with the blinkering headlights. very cool

Posted by Kyle at October 22, 2008 09:17 AMI love the shallow depth of field in this. Was it created after the photo was taken or how?
Thanks for sharing.
Posted by David at October 22, 2008 09:41 AMReferring to today's Bremmer and York street picture:
"I want the stark beauty that a lens can so exactly render presented without interference of artistic effect. – Edward Weston
this almost looks like a miniature set, i love it!
Posted by leash at October 22, 2008 10:51 AMWow, You've posted many TS photos...but I think this one takes the cake.
It really really feels like a toy world. I love how each colours are so crisp.
Cheers,
Posted by Patrick at October 22, 2008 05:58 PMThe tilt effect from large heights is always brilliant.
Posted by Hugh at October 23, 2008 11:41 AMYou're the reason why I've contemplated buying a tilt-shift lens. I love it!
Posted by Nancy at October 23, 2008 01:40 PMBeautiful picture, it is funny it feels like I am looking at a model of city made by Lego. It has a strange feeling to it.
Posted by sally at October 23, 2008 11:32 PMWOW excellent shot!!! really looks like a miniature set of some hollywood action flick :)
Great!!
As much as I like the cars near the traffic light and the buses (because they do indeed look like a model set), I think having the rail yard and the city out of focus is a shame...I would have liked to see them. Especially if the same toy set look could have been given to them (I don't really know anything about photography sorry). Love the Work though keep it up!!!
Posted by Ed Percival at October 25, 2008 11:37 PMI saw this post here a few days ago, and I just had to return to say I really loved this shot. I wish I learned how to use TS lenses. Have to buy one first I guess...
Posted by Fredrik at October 27, 2008 05:11 PMFredrik, I think your right, I'm sure it's just a matetr of paying with them.
