Wow Sam, great photo. The depth of field really draws you through and the motion blur in the leg is a big plus. It looks awesome too for an ISO 800 shot.
Posted by joe at September 29, 2008 10:57 AMWow!!! Nice Depth of Field.
That really is an amazing lens.
Bye bye mystery girl.
Posted by Pop9 at September 29, 2008 07:47 PMI LOVE this shot; it is so cool, and a very different kind of shot for you... perfect timing; I love it.
Posted by Kimberly Way at September 29, 2008 10:09 PMShe is not going through a door..... is she going between the trains?
Also, its true, it is illegal to take photos within the TTC, but I dont think it really matters. I think its a stupid law.
Posted by Stefanie at September 29, 2008 11:53 PMLove the way she is 'cut in half' — very original. And also the way the train throws out of focus
Posted by onewayphoto / Mark at September 30, 2008 07:07 AMIt's perfectly legal to take photos in the TTC. TTC Bylaw 16B permits photography for non-commercial purposes. It seems that many TTC employees don't know the bylaws.
Posted by brian at September 30, 2008 07:57 AMActually she is going through a door...
and its actually illegal? Didn't know that. Haha, I think he's posted a lot of photos from the subway.
Posted by Jamie at September 30, 2008 10:22 AMOh my! I really do like this. It looks like there was a really good timing in it. Very well done!!
Posted by Kayla at October 2, 2008 11:26 AMWith the girl cut in half and walking to get on the train, it looks intense.
