Lucky You!! Can't wait to see what you do with it.

It`s encouraging to hear a professional comment on the improved dynamic range of a camera. It seems that sooner or later (sooner would be better!) camera manufacturers will come up with a digital technology to satisfy all those film users still yattering about the "blown highlights" in digital. Thanks for this, Sam, very impressive use of dof.

135mm @ f2 - that's very shallow depth of field.
Sony must be patting themselves on the back - quite a coup to have you using one of their cameras and posting pics on your site.

nice shot! I would love to hear more about your thoughts on this camera. I am currently shooting with the Minolta 5D, and am thinking of moving up to this camera.

I love this photo and your point of view.
I have been a fan for a long time and am interested to see what a new toy will draw out of you.

Bravo to sony for putting a camera like this into your hands, even if it is only for a short time.

Just by looking at this photo, I would have assumed that you were already comfortable with the camera. Great shot!

Hope to see more from this camera! I think the lens has to get the credits for this picture though. Have you made the DOF shallower in post-processing? The part of the wall which is in focus looks a bit weird.

Love this shot!

The line of focus on teh left looks a little too demarcated. Did you play with this post-processing?

YOU ARE AWESOME! I love your photos!!!

Awesome shot Sam. I like the shallow DOF.

Hey Sam, love the shot, the Sony DSLRA700 is a sweet camera, is absolutely amazing for what it can do and is very fairly priced. Keep posting more pictures with the Sony camera.

That 135 lens is an amazing lens, famous for its bokeh.

Wow, very nice macro photo!

Nice DOF and details

Have we lost you and will you henceforth be Nikonian???

But honestly must say impressive picture, curious about 5D-mII IQ...

it's all the little details that i like about this. the blue yarn, the piece of string next to the screws. great isolation. hope you enjoy the new toy.
