At first I thought the herd of sailboats was some sort of contemporary art interpretation of a bush of brambles, because they looked so blue against the sky. The curve of the bush on the left-hand-side flows so smoothly into the rest of the photo. I also love the precision of the reflection in the water, it feels as though I'm looking to the depths of the lake and still seeing the sky.

Posted by Gord at August 12, 2008 01:46 PMIf you processed it in Lightroom 2 (vs. regular Lightroom or ACR or anything else for that matter), did you use the new exposure and other settings brushes? If you did, that's essentially a "classic mixed exposures" shot, but if you didn't, that's a hell of a dynamic range you were able to capture.
