i want a sony w300 now.
Posted by np at July 18, 2008 03:56 AMLive example. It is the biological eye behind the electronic one that produces great shots.
Posted by sinkingsun at July 18, 2008 04:29 AMI don't know this particular camera, but are you using auto or manual settings? Before I switched to a dSLR I used a P&S cameraphone for a long time working with whatever settings it came up with and then tweaking the JPGs afterwards. An uphill task sometimes.
I like the way you've caught the moon just right in this picture.
Posted by Howard at July 18, 2008 05:25 AMLovely!
Thanks again Sam!
Perfect Composition.
It's all so amazing, the drifting moon, the striking sky and the symmetry within the building is well, wow, very impressive wide angle and compo :)
Posted by Lorraine at July 18, 2008 09:12 AMI think the little Sony is working out for you. I wonder, do you use it on automatic? Great job though, I find your work very inspirational.
Posted by Tyler at July 18, 2008 09:29 AMThat is so weird!!! As soon as I noticed the crane I knew exactly where that is! I actually took a picture of that crane from a different angle (from the marriot seen in the bottem right). If you go my blog you can see the same view! weird!
Posted by Tyler at July 18, 2008 09:51 AMThere will probably be a run on these Sony cameras now, maybe time to buy some stock:) Seems like a great choice for a P&S. great work as usual, thanks for sharing with us.
Posted by Michael at July 19, 2008 12:15 PMyour shots had me sold on a 5d and now you show us this! Great shot with small cam! What kind of processing have you done on it?
Posted by Matt at July 19, 2008 08:17 PMWOW you can do this on a point and shoot! This is really amazing!!
Posted by lee at July 21, 2008 12:53 AMyou should sell this photo to sony!
I love this shot!:)
A vivid example of how it ain't about expensive equipment. If someone were to give you a crappy webcam even I'm sure you'd produce nice photos with it.
