Comments: flag and the family

Nice capture. Great colors. I was in the same predicament, but got the Canon G9, with raw capes.

great picture, how long ago were you in california? i don't suppose you made it a little further north to the pismo beach area? i saw someone in my town taking pictures with a tripod and all and i remember thinking that if i could look through their lens it would probably look like one of your pictures. would have been a weird coincidence if it was you!

sam, you know what? that's a good picture. The result is this is the photographer that make a good shot not a camera...

-sigh-
Even your "point 'n shoot" pics are better than my DSLR.

The canon G9 is a miraculous machine. It has manual controls, a RAW option (although I'm still to find mine) and is compact but with a nice weight and sturdy feel.

Very retro nuclear family.

whats with that term anyways, from all my travels a family is a family just about anywhere, a human universal intrenched in instincts we formed tens of thousands of years ago. I find it hard to believe anyone, anywhere has difficulty grasping the concept of family, nor do I beileve that the underlying concept is in a continual state of cultural flux--it is innate.

What colour is ur new sony dsc-w300 camera?

That is a good shot with a point and shoot. I have a Sony DSC S80 about 3 years old. The reason I still use it is because of the full manual mode that it has.

All the gallery images on my website are taken with it. You might want to check some of the Scenery shots... I am quite proud of them.

Sam, I've been viewing your site for years. Hope you enjoyed my hometown of Huntington Beach.
